Motor5G

Purpose:

Propose new principles for mm-Wave, dynamic spectrum sharing for FWN keeping in view with the optimal business model. It will enhance capacity, data rate and reliability of the FWN.

Design AI algorithms for network prediction and QoE. Intelligent tools for supporting MANO framework. This will improve cooperation, orchestration and security of the FWN.

Design new antennas for FWN, thus improving communication efficiency by saving energy and making the FWN more environmental friendly.

Develop four different proofs of concept (PoC) to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed innovative techniques and encourage practical deployment, through prototyping and experimental research activities

National projects

Purpose:

The main objective of the project is to develop a software platform that integrates, in a unitary manner, the malware analysis procedures for most of the existing mboile terminals, with the purpose of strengthening the security of mobile terminals and networks. The specific objectives consist of identifying the operational requirements and capabilities necessary for developing and securing solutions for mobile applications and terminals that ensures the increase of cyberprotection solutions efficiency by a partnership between government, academia and industry

Purpose:

The MultiMonD2 project proposes the development of a multi-agent platform consisting of micro-laboratories specialized in the monitoring the water quality of the Danube and Danube Delta and the testing of its decontamination capabilities.

To this end, robotic vectors will be realized which will integrate systems for the investigation of Danube’s water quality and dynamics. The acquired data will be collected and interpreted by a dedicated software system, operated from a control center. The robotic vectors will be equipped with sensors systems and devices for diagnostics organized as micro-labs for the monitoring of water quality, management of floods and sediments.

Purpose:

Main objective: The development of an integrated informational system for activities management (SIIMA) that ensures the management of information, resources and activities of public institutions, through functional software modules and informatics applications (open source). The proposed solution ensures the fluidization of informational flow, resource management improvement, inter-institutional interoperability through offering a versatile, safe and resilient solution that can be customized according to the specific requirements of entities of SNAOPSN (National Defense System for Public Order and Safety). SIIMA Project ensures: functional decoupling of modules (keeping the interoperability), functional modules standardization, implementation of extensibility facilities, reuse of components and processed and stored data security. In the end, SIIMA will be integrated and tested at the public entities level, which are limited partners of SNAOPSN.

Purpose:

The purpose of the project is to implement and test a platform that allows decision making and the initiation of real-time actions through radio-telemetry systems. The project will develop a telemetry system with self-diagnosis and self-configuration functions for intelligent agriculture, based on renewable energy sources for powering the system. The proposal seeks to use advanced technology for IoT / M2M communications, especially where no GSM coverage is available, as well as increasing energy efficiency by using low-power sensors powered by a small solar panel. The telemetry system is well suited to intelligent farming activities. Precision agriculture contributes substantially to increasing crop yield by reducing resource losses such as water, fertilizers or pesticides by directing them to the crops most in need.
