The role of the Engineer Network Configuration is to perform the configuration changes in the following technologies: Radio Access Network, Transmission and Fixed Data.

 

As the Engineer Network Configuration, for all three specialties, your main responsibilities will be:

 

• Execute work orders for network developing related to RAN (2G, 3G & LTE) , transport or fixed data technologies, according to the in place procedures.
• Perform the impact and risk evaluations of the work orders execution.
• Schedule the configuration changes activities and correlate them with
• Perform the necessary tests and verifications, including tracing and debugging activities, in order to avoid any negative impact on services.
• Participate as resource in specific projects, in order to assure projects evaluation, their proper implementation , acceptance and handover to
• Network Operations department;
• Participate to the relevant training sessions according to business needs.

 

Desired Skills & Experience include:

 

Studies:

Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or related fields (Electronics, Automatics & Computer Science)

 

 

Technical knowledge:

• Specialty Transmission: SDH, PDH, ATM, ETH, Microwave, MPLS, DWDM.
• Specialty Fixed Data: DSLAM technologies.
• For all specialties: Microsoft Office advanced knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

 

Language:

• Good knowledge of the English language.
• German language is a plus

 

Others:

• Good project coordination skills.
• Good analytical skills;
• Willing to learn fast in order to increase job related competences;
• Resistant to stress factors (short deadlines, concurrent activities, prioritization decisions)
• Team player.
